In 1914, she altered the space to include two floors of galleries including the grand Tapestry Room and the East and Spanish Cloister, Spanish Chapel, Chinese Loggia, and a Chinese Room. Gardner’’s legacy of music would continue in the Tapestry Room until her death in 1924.
