I used to despise television. Now I’m starting to hate it, because it’s gotten so good I have to watch. Game of Thrones, The Borgias, Mad Men; irresistible stuff. And now, cable TV giant Comcast Corp. makes matters worse, with a system upgrade that adds a dose of Internet interactivity to help sort through thousands of programming choices. They call the service Xfinity X1. X1 is a major improvement over the crude on-screen channel guide we’ve been using for years.
