Unattended children found in Scituate; parents located shortly afterward

A 2-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy were found wandering on the side of the road near the intersection of Country Way and Curtis Street in Scituate at approximately 7:45 a.m. Saturday morning, police said. After police released an automated message to residents, the parents called to report the children missing from their Branch Street home.
