Multiple police officers shot in Greenland, N.H., dispatcher says

Multiple police officers were shot in Greenland, N.H., Thursday evening, a police dispatcher said.

A news website in the area reported that Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney was shot along with two drug agents who were serving a warrant at a home on Post Road.

According to, police have evacuated people who live within a half-mile of the home, reportedly at 517 Post Road.

Police from several local and state departments responded to the area, and the first emergency call for an “officer-involved shooting” came in at approximately 6:30 p.m., according to the website.
