Red Sox still awaiting word about Crawford

Carl Crawford has yet to be examined by Dr. James Andrews, Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine said today. That visit is expected to come in the next day or two. General manager Ben Cherington said the injury is more of a sprain than tendinitis. But others in the organization are concerned that it could be something worse.
