Saddle seller gets analyst nods

Dover Saddlery is based in Littleton.

RUI VIEIRA/ASSOCIATED PRESS/2011

Dover Saddlery is based in Littleton.

Investors may want to consider whether to saddle up with Dover Saddlery: The stock’s “outperform” rating was restated by William Blair analysts. And Langenberg analysts reiterated a “buy” rating with the same price target. The company, with a market value of about $20.6 million, is a retailer and direct marketer of equestrian products founded in 1975 by US equestrian team members. It sells via catalogs, online, and in its own stores.

Correction: Because of an editing error, an earlier version of this item incorrectly cited analysts’ price targets of $75 for Dover Saddlery Inc. stock. The firms cited have not made price estimates.
