Man injured when hit by duck boat in Boston

A pedestrian suffered minor injuries when he was struck by a Boston Duck Tours boat at Bowdoin and Cambridge streets in downtown Boston Tuesday afternoon, officials said. Police responded to the scene at around 1:50 p.m., and Boston Emergency Medical Services arrived shortly afterward to take the unidentified pedestrian to Massachusetts General Hospital. Police did not release any more details. Cindy Brown, general manager of the company, said the duck boat was turning left onto Cambridge Street on a green light when it struck the pedestrian.

Not surprising . . . many smart people come to the big city and don't know how to read walk-signs. Come to MIT and Harvard Sq. and watch the students cross intersection, totally oblivious to traffic.
