State Police divers to search Charles River for man seen jumping off Harvard Bridge

State Police are expected to search the Charles River again today for a man who was seen jumping into the river around 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office.

Detectives and divers searched the area near the Harvard Bridge on Monday, but without discovering the body of the 32-year-old man, Conley’s office said. Foul play is not suspected in the man’s death.

“Multiple witness statements suggest that he went over the bridge intentionally, and there is no indication of criminal conduct at this time,’’ Conley spokesman Jake Wark said in a statement.
