Man charged with two rapes in Roxbury

A Roxbury man is under arrest, charged with three counts of rape in connection with attacks on two women in Roxbury last weekend, authorities said.

Tikee Beverly, 37, is charged with attacking a woman on Saturday morning near 2900 Washington St. in Roxbury, and the second victim was assaulted on Sunday morning in the same area, according to Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office.

Boston police said both attacks occurred at an abandoned property.

Beverly had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf Tuesday in Roxbury District Court. He was held on $60,000 cash bail and his bail for a previous assault and battery case was revoked, prosecutors said.

Beverly is on federal probation after serving 10 years for robbing a bank in Malden in 2002.
