Man faces charges of parental kidnap in Braintree case

BRAINTREE — A man who lost custody of his two young children in January 2012 in a neglect case and who allegedly abducted them Monday from their foster home here is facing parental kidnapping and other charges.

It remains unclear how Jon T. Lockwood discovered the address of the foster home, but the alleged abduction came a short time after he attended a scheduled supervised visit with his children at a state Department of Children and Families office in Braintree, a meeting that was monitored by police, said DCF spokeswoman Cayenne Isaksen.
