Woman charged with stabbing 73-year-old man to death in Roxbury

A Dorchester woman has been charged with murder in the August stabbing death of 73-year-old Winston Fields of Roxbury.

Boston police and the Suffolk County district attorney’s office have issued an arrest warrant for Angeliea Brown, 33, of Dorchester, who is already incarcerated at the South Bay House of Correction on unrelated charges.

Fields was found dead at 2:37 p.m. on Aug. 14 at an address on Washington Street in Roxbury. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy concluded Field was stabbed to death.

The alleged motive for the homicide has not been revealed and no further information has been released. Brown is slated to be arraigned Friday in Roxbury District Court.
