Emails between rabbi and man accused of extortion

A series of e-mails between Rabbi Barry Starr and the man who allegedly extorted thousands of dollars from him, identified as Nicholas Zemeitus. Starr, who allegedly started a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male two years ago, paid as much as $480,000 to buy the silence of Zemeitus, who professed to be the teenager’s brother. The e-mails were included in court documents released this week in Stoughton District Court.
