Where Baker did better than in 2010
Republican Charlie Baker ran up substantial margins in conservative regions such as the South Shore and Worcester suburbs, while peeling off enough votes in big cities and liberal suburbs to defeat Democrat Martha Coakley in the governor's race. This map shows the shift from the 2010 gubernatorial elections, comparing the margin of difference in the results for the two parties.
