Singer Adele spotted in Boston

British singer Adele , who announced late last week that she’d be cancelling the rest of her 2011 performances to have surgery on her vocal chords, was spotted at Red Lantern on Stanhope Street with a few companions over the weekend. There’s no official word about why she’s in town, but it’s a safe bet that she’s come to Boston for her vocal chord repair.
