'Downton Abbey' star Elizabeth McGovern celebrates at WGBH

Actress Elizabeth McGovern, who plays Cora, Countess of Grantham on the PBS series “Downton Abbey,’’ joined the show’s executive producer Gareth Neame (pictured with McGovern), and “Masterpiece’’ executive producer Rebecca Eaton at WGBH’s headquarters yesterday. The trio were in town for a preview party and screening celebrating the show’s second season. “Downton Abbey,’’ which won six Primetime Emmys, premieres Jan. 8.
