Selena Gomez canceled two concerts over the weekend in what her representative called a “family emergency.’’ According to E! Online, Gomez, 19, was in Los Angeles Friday when she learned that her mother, Mandy Teefey, 35, suffered a miscarriage. The singer and her rep have not confirmed the report. Last month Gomez announced that her mother was expecting the singer’s first sibling. (Billboard.com)

Attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain say in court filings that they have been paid less than the 10 percent of gross entertainment-related earnings of the estate that they agreed to split for managing the late singer’s business affairs.
