‘Jedediah Caesar: Soft Structures’ at the MFA

Museum school alum returns to exhibit works at the MFA

The second in an ongoing series devoted to recent School of the Museum of Fine Arts graduates, “Jedediah Caesar: Soft Structures,’’ occupies an awkward space - not quite a gallery, not quite a corridor - on the ground floor of the new Linde Family Wing at the Museum of Fine Arts. Caesar’s work is in many ways promising, but the show is an underwhelming affair - a little overthought, a little underdone. It gets more interesting the closer you look.
