Patty Griffin, Robert Plant on holiday in Maine

Last month we told you a rumor that Maine native and folkstress Patty Griffin might be engaged to Led Zeppelin and Band of Joy frontman Robert Plant . Turns out, it’s true. The musicians, who are bethrothed, were in Portland for the holiday weekend to visit Patty’s sister Eileen Griffin and Eileen’s husband Carter Friend . They stayed at the Regency Portland and were spotted by fans at the local Whole Foods and Starbucks. Mainer Ashley Jordan (@apj114) tweeted. . .
