New Girl 9 p.m., Channel 25

If you missed the setup for this new Fox sitcom here’s your chance to get on board from the beginning with a rerun of the pilot. Zooey Deschanel stars as a woman trying to pick up the pieces from a recent breakup with three new male roommates and the magical healing powers of “Dirty Dancing.’’ Your determination of her level of adorableness will make clear whether you’ll have the time of your life watching or want to put “New Girl’’ in the corner.

The Mortified Sessions 8 p.m., Sundance

The latest installment of the series that delves into the childhood memories of the famous goes back in time to the ’80s with Lea Thompson and Anthony Michael Hall - Lorraine McFly and the “brain’’ himself. Considering that both actors lived a good part of their adolescence on screen it will be interesting to see the private side of that. How great would it be if Thompson shared pictures from the Enchantment Under the Sea dance?
