Boston Wine Festival kicks off at Boston Harbor Hotel

The Wharf Room at the Boston Harbor Hotel was packed on Friday night with well-dresssed foodies who were greeted with glasses of bubbly at the door. The sips were meant to mark the start of the 2012 Boston Wine Festival, which is the hotel’s run of wine and food pairings led by Executive Chef Daniel Bruce . Guests at the festival’s opening-night party included former “Chronicle’’ coanchor Mary Richardson and her producer husband Stan Leven , artist Patrick Pierce. . .
