Critic Jeremy Eichler recommends upcoming classical music performances, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra: The cancellation of conductor Riccardo Chailly heavily impacted next week’s program, and the orchestra, in a rare move, chose to engage a replacement conductor for only one piece - Giancarlo Guerrero will lead the ensemble in Stravinsky’s “Rite of Spring.’’ For the rest of the program the BSO will lead itself in music by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Copland, and Henri Tomasi. Jan. 20-Jan 24. Symphony Hall.
