Adoring crowd connects with Los Campesinos! at Paradise

“Are there any couples here tonight?’’ lead singer Gareth Campesinos! asked the crowd crammed into the Paradise Rock Club on Friday. When hands shot up, the 25-year-old singer, born Gareth Paisey, shot them down again. A Los Campesinos! concert isn’t for couples, he told them. “If you know anything, you know you come here with hate in your heart. You know you’re sure to die lonely, but with a really good cable package.’’ In response, the adoring throng roared with un-hateful delight.
