Coyote Kolb plays a unique blend of folk, blues, and Southern rock

Led by Chadley Kolb, the local quintet Coyote Kolb veers woozily on the outskirts of American roots music. On the band’s fine new sophomore album, “United State,’’ a newfound confidence and a strong band dynamic fire up its 10 songs. It’s the follow-up to 2010’s “Massachusett,’’ and the leap between the two albums is impressive. The band will celebrate the new album’s release with a show at Great Scott tomorrow night, also featuring Tallahassee and Larcenist.
