Fresh off his Golden Globe win and his two Oscar nominations - best actor for “The Descendants’’ and best adapted screenplay for “The Ides of March’’ - George Clooney sits down for James Lipton’s little blue card treatment. The two-time “Sexiest Man Alive’’ will head down memory lane discussing his career on TV - we loved him on “Sisters’’ - his leap to the big screen, his move behind the scenes as a writer-director, his humanitarian efforts, and his ongoing prank-filled friendship with best actor competitor Brad Pitt.

Glee 8 p.m., Channel 25

Will it be a “Thriller’’ or will it be “Bad’’? This show has been such a hot mess of late that it’s hard to know which way this Michael Jackson tribute episode will go. But if anyone is going to inspire the McKinley High gang to “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ ’’ good then it’s the late King of Pop. Hopefully, if it makes viewers “Scream’’ it will be with joy.

Bridget and Siobhan return and hope that viewers remember who is who.

Ellstin Limehouse ain’t just whistlin’ Dixie.

White Collar 10 p.m., USA
