In the beer world, spring has sprung early

Introduced as a spring seasonal just two years ago, Samuel Adams Noble Pils has quickly become one of the most popular beers to come out of the Boston Beer Co. Because of the widespread love for the Czech pilsner, it is now a year-round brew. To fill its slot as a spring seasonal, Sam Adams has released Alpine Spring.

I too was disappointed when Sam Adams decided Spring started in January. They management team must be spending too much vacation time in the "Islands". We went out looking for a case of the Winter Classics that had featured some of their interesting beers like a Chocolate Stout, and alas, we found the newer selections. So like any smart beer consumer, we grabbed some Winter Warmer from the wonderful Harpoon Brewery. We are wondering if Sam will think Summer starts on Tax Day?
