Boston Casting seeking burlesque dancers for pilot

Boston Casting sent out a notice yesterday that should excite our local burlesque troupes, such as the Boston Babydolls. Apparently, the casting agency is on the hunt for local (and Caucasian) female burlesque dancers, ages 20 to 30, who can perform with a feather fan. The performers are needed for a television pilot, which we assume is “Gilded Lillys,’’ the Shonda Rhimes show that films its pilot here next month. “Lillys’’ takes place in 1895, which is probably why Boston Casting is also on the hunt for “caucasian coachmen, ages 20 to 50.’’ If you’re a dancer or coachman and want a paid television gig, e-mail Ashley@Bostoncasting.com.
