Before the pros get down to business on Sunday, this sparkling pick-up game gives celeb wannabes a chance to strut their stuff off of their normal stages and on the court. Among those lacing up (and potentially fouling out) will be singers Ne-Yo (pictured), Javier Colon (winner of “The Voice’’), and J. Cole, ringers Penny Hardaway and Mitch Richmond, rapper Common, comics JB Smoove and Kevin Hart, and “Jersey Shore’’ lunkhead Vinny Guadagnino, who, with the help of his Twitter followers, lobbied for a spot on the team.
Memphis 9 p.m., Channel 2
The time and expense of going to see a Broadway musical is out of reach for many people. So it’s a rare treat that PBS is offering this presentation of the 2010 Tony winner for best musical. It chronicles in rousing song and dance the interracial romance of a white disc jockey and a black singer. Fun random fact: Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan won a Tony for co-writing the score.
Who Do You Think You Are? 8 p.m., Channel 7
In tonight’s case, I’m betting he thinks he’s Blair Underwood. And he’s probably pretty happy about it.
