Critic’s corner: What’s on TV tonight

Project Runway All Stars 9 p.m., Lifetime

For anyone who has ever spent a sick day horizontal on the couch, toggling from one syndicated “Runway’’ marathon to the next, the multi-season jumble of spurned talent that is “Project Runway All Stars’’ can feel like a bizarre fever dream. The continued presence of Jerell, Kenley, and Kara has become as bothersome as the continued absence of Tim, Heidi, and Nina; but with just two episodes left before the finale, the ultimate (dare we say inevitable?) showdown between Mondo, Austin, and who-really-cares-who-else draws tantalizingly close. Tonight, the designers make illuminated garb in a concerted effort to delight Pharrell Williams. Pictured (from left): Mondo Guerra, Kenley Collins, Michael Costello, Kara Janx, and Austin Scarlett.

The Tonight Show With Jay Leno 11:35 p.m., Channel 7

If we’re lucky, guest Julianne Moore will have a few spur-of-the-moment Palin-isms to dole out for viewers eager for the premiere of “Game Change,’’ in which she portrays the lipsticked pit bull at the height of her spotlight-entering glory. If we’re extra lucky, she’ll hop onstage with musical guests Chickenfoot and launch into a blistering riff-battle with Joe Satriani. (Hey, a guy can dream, can’t he?)
