The Tonight Show With Jay Leno 11:35 p.m., Channel 7

If we’re lucky, guest Julianne Moore will have a few spur-of-the-moment Palin-isms to dole out for viewers eager for the premiere of “Game Change,’’ in which she portrays the lipsticked pit bull at the height of her spotlight-entering glory. If we’re extra lucky, she’ll hop onstage with musical guests Chickenfoot and launch into a blistering riff-battle with Joe Satriani. (Hey, a guy can dream, can’t he?)

Swamp People 9 p.m., History

Gator-hunters scramble; Joe gets banged up.

When Vacations Attack 8 p.m., Travel Channel

A skier gets smashed; a parasailer gets slammed.

Jersey Shore 10 p.m., MTV

Scrambling, banging, smashing, and slamming, continued.
