Boston's club scene, one party at a time

Reggie Johnson, long time co-worker and good friend of DJ Kris Kono, who died last year at 46 after battling cancer, presents Konocopia, a house music dance party in Kono’s remembrance. “Kris touched so many different people,’’ says Johnson. “She played anywhere from hip-hop to Top 40, and was always combining so many different genres, so we organized this event to celebrate her, her music, and to raise money for the Berklee scholarship.’’
