The Southeast Missourian reports that Boyd will seek election as a Republican in the 149th Missouri House District. . . . Rocker Gene Simmons of the band Kiss is opening a rock-themed restaurant that will replicate the atmosphere of a rock concert and emphasize craft beer. . . . Queen Elizabeth II , her husband and other senior royals attended a lively ceremony yesterday in London marking Commonwealth Day.
