THE LONGEST YARD (Comcast Movie Collections: Adam Sandler Movies) Less a movie than a sporadically funny, overstaffed showbiz sampler, this remake of the 1974 Burt Reynolds vehicle stars a bored-seeming Adam Sandler as an incarcerated ex-NFL quarterback who leads a team of inmates in a football game against the guards. Talented comedians, character actors, professional athletes, sports commentators, one rapper, and two former sitcom stars sit in the movie like too much food at a buffet cart. With Reynolds, Chris Rock, and Nelly. (PG-13; runs through April 2)
