Springsteen plays from the heart — and a teleprompter

Although Bruce Springsteen is using a teleprompter in his current tour, many fans say that it doesn’t change the energy, spirit, and tent-revival passion of his concerts.

"with the spell Springsteen has cast for nearly 40 years"...... Give the guy a break. Anybody that's been singing songs for that long is gonna forget some of the lyrics at times, even to songs sung for decades. It's the spirit that counts. If the teleprompter gives him another couple of decades, more power to him.

This is one of the most ill-informed and unfairly skewed pieces of 'journalism' I've read in quite some time - and that's really saying something considering the toxic political climate in which we now suffer. His hypothesis and final sentence are both utterly ridiculous; he sounds like some fan-boy who got turned down for an autograph.

Instead of ruminating in trite minutia, let's celebrate the good fortune of Bruce & other "aging" rock stars(who isn't) being able to still tour & bring live music to the fans...

No wonder he support Obama!
