Mitt makes a splash

Mitt Romney will never be confused with “Buffalo Bill’’ Cody, but the buttoned-up former Massachusetts governor and prospective Republican presidential nominee still fancies himself something of an outdoorsman. Romney, a self-described “rodent and rabbit hunter’’ in his younger days, is a guest on this week’s episode of “Charlie Moore: No Offense.’’ Moore, known as “the Mad Fisherman,’’ taped the segment with Romney in 2009, but it’s just airing now. (The episode airs on the NBC Sports Network Saturday at 1:30 p.m.) On the show, Moore says the rap on Romney is that he’s “not a guy’s guy,’’ but the pair manage to have some fun, and even do a little water skiing. Most remarkable of all? Romney’s hair gets messy.
