Van Otterloo Collection at the MFA has eye-popping Dutch art

Over the past couple of years, the best collection of 17th-century Dutch paintings in private hands has been on tour in the Netherlands and the United States (including at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem). Now a selection of 44 works from this collection has been put on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, in a show called “Complementary Collections, Rose-Marie and Eijk van Otterloo and the MFA.”
