After 32 years, Bad Brains still revel in the moment

Thirty-two years since the release of the first Bad Brains single, there is still something fresh and revolutionary about the band’s music. In an electrifying show Monday at The Paradise, the bulk of the evening focused on the Bad Brains’ peak years between 1980 and ’89, when they were warping musical boundaries with a mashup of hard-core punk and reggae. But rather than coming across as old dudes trying to recapture a bygone era, they seemed wholly in the moment.
