Feist’s singular voice soars at House of Blues

At the very end of her concert Monday night at the House of Blues, Leslie Feist’s band had just dropped out so she could finish “Let It Die’’ alone with her electric guitar, when she did something that seemed stunningly unwise: She pulled away from the microphone but kept singing. And despite a voice that’s not notably loud or piercing, somehow she had no problem cutting through the air, even against her amplified instrument.
