‘Car Talk’ reaches the end of the road

Brothers Tom and Ray Magliozzi, co-hosts of “Car Talk,” a staple of National Public Radio programming for 25 years, announced their upcoming retirement Friday in typical “Click and Clack” fashion: with wisecracks. Their show, which debuted on Boston’s WBUR-FM 35 years ago, will live on, though, as a Greatest Hits repackaging of its more than 1,2000 programs.

I have never "wasted another perfectly good hour" listening to Car Talk. It's all been good. It will be missed.

Great entertainment with some useful information thrown in. If you edit out the laughter, it'd run 15 minutes shorter, but that's the fun of it!
