The Philadelphia Experiment 9 p.m., Syfy

Malcolm McDowell + Syfy movie = OMG. The super busy “Clockwork Orange” overactor is making a career of playing outsized authority figures on TV, on shows such as “Entourage,” “The Mentalist,” “Heroes,” and “Franklin & Bash.” Tonight he brings his hammy delivery to the story of a World War II warship that reappears and is ready to attack.

Oprah’s Lifeclass Sunday at 10 p.m., OWN

The new semester of Oprah-ology begins tomorrow night, as Oprah returns to the lectern to dispense her wisdom. The guest is inspirational speaker Iyanla Vanzant, and the subject is guilt and healing. Oprah and Vanzant try to help a woman forgive herself because she drove drunk with her two young children in the car. Homework assignment: Tears.
