Beverly Hills Nannies 9 p.m., ABC Family
These gorgeous young nannies and mannies get to live the life, in the most beautiful homes and at the best restaurants, except that . . .
1) They constantly have to boost the egos of their ultra-wealthy employers, 2) They have to look at their employers’ distorted faces up close every day, and 3) They’re reality performers who are pressured to fabricate drama and take on roles that don’t always make them look very good. Some silver linings have many clouds.

Final Witness 10 p.m., Channel 5
These reenacted true-crime stories are told through the voice of the murder victim — the “final witness” of the title, played by an actor. It’s a bold approach that wants to be haunting like “The Lovely Bones” but really just seems cheesy and false. Who knows what the real victim’s point of view would be? While there is something seductive about the show’s melodramatic storytelling, which veers between acted scenes and real-life family members and friends, it leaves a bad taste. Why not just go all scripted and be bad in a forthright manner? Tonight, a mother solves her son’s murder after his decomposed body is found in an Ohio cornfield.
