Here Comes Honey Boo Boo 10 p.m., TLC

I just don’t have enough ironic hatred to enjoy this new TLC reality show. “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” is a spinoff of “Toddlers & Tiaras,” and it focuses on “T&T” breakout Alana Thompson, a caffeinated 6-year-old pageant girl. The show follows her home to Georgia, so we can get to know her crazy, pig-feet-bobbing kin. Wednesday, the family heads to the Summer Redneck Games to see if Alana can become Queen of the Mud Pit. Watch out, that mud might splash onto you.

Breaking Bad 1:15 a.m. Thursday, AMC

You’ve got to see this episode, this extraordinary episode. The whole thing takes place on Anna Gunn’s face, as Walt becomes more coldly enamored of his power and Skyler becomes fearful for her kids. Skyler fumes, and smokes, and silently plots. Suddenly, Walt’s cancer no longer scares her. Gunn (pictured) doesn’t have many lines until later in the hour, and when she finally explodes it is a thing of acting beauty. The blowout between Gunn and Bryan Cranston reminds me of Edie Falco and James Gandolfini in the “Whitecaps” episode of “The Sopranos.” They threaten to make the TV catch fire.
