MFA showcases a sure grasp of glamour
NEW YORK— There are celebrity photographers who capture their subjects in moments of vulnerability. And then there’s Mario Testino. The fashion photographer, best known for his bold portraits of Brad Pitt, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and just about every other megawatt celebrity, takes a different approach. His first exhibition in the United States, opening at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts this week, is called “In Your Face.” One look at Testino’s brash images makes it clear the show is aptly titled.
