Last Resort 8 p.m., Channel 5

Sigh. It was no big surprise when ABC canceled this show. The ratings were low, and dropping every week. And the complicated ongoing story line guaranteed that new viewers would not drop in. But it was too bad. “Last Resort” was one of the better new network shows in a mediocre fall season, thanks to its unusual plot and memorable performances by Andre Braugher (pictured) and Scott Speedman. At least ABC is airing all 13 episodes before pulling it. By the way, every Braugher vehicle since “Homicide” — “Gideon’s Crossing,” “Hack,” “Thief,” and “Men of a Certain Age” — has met an untimely end.
