30 Rock 8 p.m., Channel 7

The final month of episodes begins, as the satire that won three best-comedy Emmys approaches its Jan. 31 series finale. I will be sad when it’s gone, but glad that the show went out before it rusted up. Sure, “30 Rock” has had ups and downs over the years, but so has every other great network series. In Thursday night’s episode, Octavia Spencer (pictured) plays herself, with Tracy trying to direct her in his new movie.

The 18th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards 8 p.m., Channel 56

This is all leading up to the Oscars, with the nominations announced Thursday morning at 8:30 and the awards telecast on Feb. 24. “Lincoln,” “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Argo,” “Silver Linings Playbook,” “Les Miserables” — all the top movies and actors wind up blurring together by the time the local critics, the Golden Globes, and the Top 10 lists have had their way with them. Thursday night’s ceremony, by the Broadcast Film Critics Association, will air live.

The Millionaire Matchmaker 9 p.m., Bravo

Vapid cupid.

Kathy 10 p.m., Bravo

Intrepid, disputed.

Buckwild 9 p.m., MTV

Putrid, stupid.
