There are two new sheriffs in town, and things are likely to be very different under their rule in the International Ballroom at the Beverly Hilton. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler — both NBC stars on the great “30 Rock” and “Parks and Recreation,” respectively — are stepping into the boots vacated by Ricky Gervais, and we’re guessing the wit is going to be less snarky and more sparkly. We’re also hoping the “Saturday Night Live” alums call on a few friends to help keep the laughs coming between long lists thanking agents and publicists. Since Ben Affleck didn’t get a nod for best director from the Academy Awards for “Argo,” perhaps a shiny trophy from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will help ease the pain. As for the TV nominees, it’s the usual mix of reliables (“Breaking Bad,” Jon Hamm) and newcomers (“The Newsroom,” Lena Dunham). We’re most excited to see what Fey and Poehler (pictured, from left) do when the winner is announced for best actress in a comedy for which they are both nominated. If only it could be a tie.
