Critic’s corner: What’s on TV tonight

It’s such a great pleasure to have this series back. And for those of you who haven’t been watching, this season’s plot seems relatively separate from last season so it might be a good chance to jump in. As Tim Olyphant’s Raylan deals with becoming a father in the near future, and with his own father’s ever more twisted way, he is looking into a cold case. The drama is as steeped as ever in local Harlan County characters, and I’m particularly ready to love the show’s latest addition, Constable Bob, played by Patton Oswalt (above). He’s Raylan’s Barney Fife.
