Critic’s corner: What’s on TV tonight

Prashant Gupta/FX

Justified 10 p.m., FX

It’s such a great pleasure to have this series back. Cougar Town 10 p.m., TBS

Early on, the show focused on Courteney Cox (above, with Dan Byrd) as a single 40-something woman looking for fun. Doomsday Preppers 9 p.m., National Geographic

Emily Owens, M.D. 9 p.m., Channel 56

She treats lame duck syndrome.

The Lying Game 9 p.m., ABC Family

She’s NOT a man.
