DJ Qualls practically steals this raunchy but tender “Wilfred”-like comedy from star and creator Jim Jefferies. He plays Billy, a guy with muscular dystrophy in a motorized wheelchair, who gets busted out of his adult-care facility by Jim. Qualls is touching as Billy thrills to Jim’s raucousness, and he is hysterical when Billy pouts and “leaves the room” – that is, when he turns his head away. Best known for his film debut in “Road Trip,” as well as many appearances on shows from “Supernatural” to “My Name Is Earl,” he’s one of a kind.
