As PBS realizes, inquiring minds still want to know. Back in 1932, aviator Charles Lindbergh’s 20-month-old son was kidnapped from his New Jersey home and murdered. In this episode of “Nova,” investigators use state-of-the art forensics and behavioral science to explore what really happened.

The Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials 2013  8 p.m., Channel 4

You’ve got to love the cult of the Super Bowl ads. It’s a great way for network TV to guarantee advertisers who are paying top dollar for Super Bowl commercials that their commercials will be watched closely. To feed the cult, CBS is airing this annual celebration of past ads, hosted by Aisha Tyler and Boomer Esiason. Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny, anyone?
