Chozen 10:30 p.m., FX
With so much talent behind it, and such a peculiar premise, I would normally tell you to put down your Swiffer and sit yourself in front of “Chozen.” Unfortunately, this animated tale of a fresh-out-of-prison gay rapper is not the sum of its parts. Voiced by “Saturday Night Live” comedian Bobby Moynihan, “Chozen” is simply a string of crude, predictable jokes. It lacks the witty quips of lead-in “Archer,” even though “Archer” creator Adam Reed is part of the “Chozen” creative team. You will laugh sporadically, but not enough to justify a long-term relationship with the show. I will save you some time and lay out the episode for you: white rapper, penis joke, bathroom humor, penis joke, mediocre rap song, wash, rinse, and repeat.
Bitten 10 p.m., Syfy
Can someone tell me when werewolves got so damn sexy? Also, can someone tell me how I can get bitten by a werewolf so I can wind up with Joe Manganiello’s abs and Taylor Lautner’s pecs? I want to try this running-on-all-fours exercise plan. There is more werewolf hotness on “Bitten,” but the twist here is that Laura Vandervoort plays the planet’s only female werewolf.
