Next weekend horror fiction master R.L. Stine, creator of the “Goosebumps’’ series, and fantasy writer Lev Grossman will join five-time Hugo Award winner Vernor Vinge at Vericon, the annual gathering hosted by the Harvard-Radcliffe Science Fiction Association. And on March 29, Gregory Maguire and Kelly Link will take to the stage at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge for a reading and discussion at 6 p.m. Maguire’s “Tales Told in Oz’’ is a compendium of five original folktales.
